DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Mar 1 (SMM) – Trades of spot blister copper improved as more downstream buyers recovered as of Friday March 1, which slightly lowered refining charges (RCs) for seaborne materials, SMM assessment showed.
As of March 1, RCs for imported blister copper were mostly offered at $175-185/mt cif, and RCs for domestic materials at 1,500-1,600 yuan/mt, including freight charges. Transactions mostly occurred at low prices, SMM learned.
In mid-February, SMM assessed that RCs for domestic blister copper were offered at 1,500-1,600 yuan/mt, and RCs for imported blister copper at $179-185/mt cif.
